Moonlight Peaks Amigurumis

a project I've been focusing on recently is a couple of crocheted Moonlight Peaks dolls, because yes I HAVE gotten that obsessed

been posting progress shots on Pillowfort, so I'll put them here too

leggies, because I always start with legs:



my character has very light purple skin, this yarn is technically too dark, but I'm working with stash yarn so it's Close Enough

next up: torsos
I'm working mostly off the in-game chibi models, and chibis have deeply bizarre proportions



I was aiming to have these be the same size, but the purple yarn is sock weight and the cream yarn is worsted weight, and making them match exactly proved... difficult. however it works anyway because Mirka IS smaller (she comes up to about Orlock's chin. I do not think Orlock is a tall man, she's just Tiny)

wedding rings, because that's extremely important :)

 

I am extremely proud of the red gem on this one, I crocheted that with size 80 crochet cotton and I couldn't even see the stitches because I am over 40 years old and my eyes do NOT work that well anymore

and I'm still working on Mirka's head, but here's Orlock's so far:



while I'm mostly working off the chibi models, the pointy ears in the portraits are Important to me
