Opalite Cylinder Spacers and Lapis Wire Work

I loved these opalite cylinders when I got them years ago. Still had a few left so paired them with some fiber optic, frosted glass and milky glass and tied them together with the silver cubes.



Had these pieces which were sold as a connecting strand. Decided to keep them that way (though I removed one item for a more balanced look). Didn't have an exact match on hand but probably not that important given the mixy mix of items. I added in some bright indigo beads and gold squares.

I used to see a lot more of the lapis than I do now. But yes, they make for such pretty beads 😊

It's funny, I don't see it around much anymore -- although granted I have been getting most all of my stock from craft stores rather than bead stores for some time. No stores close by or in our paths during trips.
