My First Kandi Cuff

Hello all! I do all sorts of crafts, but recently I picked Kandi making back up! I used to make make singles back 10 or so years ago. I was always impressed by all the cool cuffs people would make, but I guess I never figured it out. Recently I checked out a newer-to-me queer group in my town and a few people there make Kandi! They had some really cool designs. A few people in the group are plural too, and make bracelets for their headmates. The whole thing made me really interested in picking it back up again!

I followed the tutorial on Kandi Patterns and changed around a few of the colors.

Great result!

I hadn't heard of this before though I'd seen pony beads used in things, but usually saw smaller beads in bracelets (lots of weaving for those). But I like the bold look.

I've seen small beads woven before, but those would be cool to make as they would take a lot less time! Pretty!

I learned that type of... "bead weaving" (?) when I was a kid, but using perler beads! Always fascinating to see how different approaches to craft can share traits =)
